Imagine turbulent skies, craggy mountains, smoky peat fires and the cold, mineral-laced water of the lochs. The half-light of dusk is the setting for this scarcely cultivated cedar scent, an alliance of earth, wood and fire, preserved for all eternity. At the summit of this moody, telluric fragrance blows a cold, aromatic Highland breeze perfumed with lemon and cardamom. Notes of clary sage and broom then trigger the descent into the fragrance´s woody heart where the resinous sap of Virginian cedar, left splendidly sombre and majestic in its nearly untouched state of nature, is sustained solely by a dense undergrowth of gleaming cashmeran and tree moss. Perfumer Maurice Roucel has created a coniferous fragrance as noble and incorruptible as the Highlands itself.
